Privacy Policy

Offsy is a native desktop application for browsing Kafka topics and tailing Kafka messages. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how it is used.

Data processed by the app

Offsy stores connection information locally on your device, including connection names, bootstrap servers, and optional authentication settings. Kafka credentials are not sent to Offsy servers. Offsy currently does not operate a backend service for storing your Kafka data.

Kafka messages

Kafka messages viewed in Offsy are processed locally on your device. Offsy does not upload, transmit, or store your Kafka messages on external Offsy servers.

Payments

Purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy. Payment information, billing details, invoices, taxes, and order-related data are handled by LemonSqueezy according to their own policies.

Website

The Offsy website may be hosted by third-party infrastructure providers such as Netlify. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request logs may be processed by these providers for hosting, security, and analytics purposes.

Analytics

Offsy does not currently use product analytics inside the desktop app. If analytics are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
